2025 Temporal Dimensions Variable ‍ ‍

The Surveyor returns to a depopulated Earth in the year 3025 to complete analysis of its suitability for the return of human life. When they arrive on the surface of the planet, it becomes increasingly clear that they are somehow, improbably, alone on the wrong earth. Faced with the loss of their team, their imagined future, and cut off from the remainder of the human race, they enact a series of improvised rituals to divine the meaning of their fate. The work is a meditation on displacement, grief, non-human intelligence, and creativity as a cycle of reception, modulation and transmission.
