They received their MFA in Fine Art from Goldsmiths, University of London, in 2025, graduating with distinction. Their work interrogates non-dualistic thinking and explores the intersection of science fiction, spirituality, and the limits of the human experience. Gilkes-Bower is the founder of the streetwear brand [Life On Earth and Flight Officer of the eco-grief sci-fi LARP SkyTing.
